Daylight Savings Time
Daylight Savings starts this weekend March 9, at 2:00 AM. We will loose an hour of sleep.
Benjamin Franklin started DST in 1784 to have more sunshine and save on using candles.
The United States started DST during World War I to save energy. Over the years it has changed a lot because it is controversial.
